Mont Rocher
exceptional varietals from unsung terroirs

Mont Rocher is our terroir-specific, high-altitude varietal range from the high plateaus of the Haute Vallée de l’Aude in the foothills of the Pyrénées. The mission is purity: classic grapes, made in a fresher, lighter balance than you’d expect from southern France, shaped by cooler conditions and careful site selection.

Mont Rocher is loyal to the land in its varietal clarity and high-plateau identity, and unbound by tradition in its modern, clean, food-first balance.

This region matters because it naturally protects what many warm-climate varietal wines can lose: aromatic lift and acidity. With altitude, cooler nights, and clay-limestone soils, the wines stay vivid. That freshness allows us to keep winemaking straightforward – clean ferments, measured extraction, and élevage that supports (not masks) the fruit. The goal is a range that works for both education and pleasure: easy to understand on a shelf, reliable on a list, and genuinely satisfying at the table.

Where it fits

Mont Rocher is ideal for restaurants and retailers who want varietal clarity with a distinctive origin story: high plateau, cool climate, southern France. It also suits consumers building confidence – choose your favorite grape, and discover how this place expresses it differently.
